Notice: 11/15/2004: The "Hidden" attribute must be removed for all files on your Pdrive prior to copying from the Web Connect.  This attribute must be de-selected while mapped to P: drive on-campus. Any file with the "Hidden" attribute will be ignored during a file copy attempt.   To remove the "Hidden" attribute from a file...In Windows Explorer please take steps to Show all files ...then:  Right click the file.. choose Properties..and deselect the check box.

10/1/2004: Files generated by JBuilder have been identified as having an issue when attempting to copy to or from the P: Drive Web Connection.  This is due to the xxxx.java~x~ file extension.  Either rename or zip these files to copy to the P: Drive Web Connect.

Configuration Notes:

You will be prompted with a question whether to proceed by accepting or denying a Security Certificate to access your P: drive space.  Please choose YES to accept this certificate.  You may also choose to VIEW CERTIFICATE and then INSTALL CERTIFICATE to avoid being prompted each time you access your P: drive via the web.  This certificate ensures that your communication with your P: drive is encrypted and secure.

A VPN connection is not required (via this web connection method) to access your P: drive from a third party ISP , PSU modems, or on-campus dorms.

If you are experiencing problems with the Web Connect.. please update your Windows XP installation with the following update: Web Folder Update from Microsoft
